As you may well be finding, it takes a lot of decision making to plan your wedding. In most cases, many months of thought. The colour of the icing for the cake, the flowers in the bouquet, sleeved or sleeveless dress… you know the sort of thing!
Yet other than the memories that you create, what will you treasure for many years to come? You will of course have your marriage license, and your rings. Maybe the dress all packed up, and perhaps even a dried bouquet. Yet I suspect it will be photographs provide the most enduring reminder of your wedding day. It will be photos that you will pass to your children, to shed a tear in years to come, to laugh at fashion changes, or to simply cherish one’s youth.
Personally, I am a firm believer that it is photos that people will value. Both now, and in years to come. Not just weddings I must add, but family portraits and everyday ‘snaps’ that all form your ‘present for the future’. This is surely one of the strongest lessons from the Canterbury earthquake or Hawkes Bay flooding, that we often don’t know what we truly have, until it changes (or is sadly gone).
Equally, we live in an age of increasing digital access, with many people plying for business in what is perceived to be a glamorous industry. Many new photographers like the idea of becoming a photographer. But for couples it can be hard to sort the ‘wheat from the chaff’, in order to get a reliable photographer when you have never purchased this service before. To assist this, I have produced a FREE guide to assist any couple looking at choosing a wedding photographer. This is a genuine guide, that I hope can help couples in their search for a good photographer. Just click the link on the home page. It is yours to read at no cost, with no obligation. You don’t have to choose me as your photographer!
Anyway, if you value professional wedding photography, that comes with the certainty of results, without stress, that’s where I can deliver! It is my aim to deliver stunning photos, to all couples, to ensure that you both have great memories.
